The purpose of this blog post is to provide the guidance and the steps needed to update my VCSA 7 environment. Release notes for VMware vCenter Server 7.0 Update 3c can be found here. Below is a screenshot of my current environment prior to Update 3c. Previous build numbers can be found here.

In order to proceed, select Update and then Check Updates. In the event the update does not appear, please follow these steps:
- Select Settings
- Tick the Specified radio button
- Update the URL to the following (https://vapp-updates.vmware.com/vai-catalog/valm/vmw/8d167796-34d5-4899-be0a-6daade4005a3/7.0.3.00100.latest)
- Select Save

Accept the terms, followed by Next.

Pre-update checks will commence.

Select Next at the VMware Customer Experience Improvement Program.

Ensure your backups are in place, then select Finish to proceed with the upgrade.

The installation begins and can take up to one hour complete.

Installation succeeded.
