Cisco Duo Authentication for Windows

The purpose of this blog post is to provide the guidance and the steps needed to install and setup the Duo client for Windows (official DUO guidance for Windows can be found here). Once the Duo installer has been downloaded (at the time of this post, v4.1.3 was the current version), please proceed with the installation:

Before moving forward, please keep in mind that the API Hostname, Integration Key, and Secret Key are obtained from the Duo Admin Portal (more on the portal in a future blog post).

When prompted, enter your API Hostname and select Next. The installer verifies that your Windows system has connectivity to the DUO service before proceeding:

Enter your Integration Key and Secret Key (see below), then select Next:

Please select the appropriate options listed below that apply to your environment and then select Next (a description of each is found below):

Please select the appropriate options listed below that apply to your environment and then select Next (a description of each is found below):

Please select the appropriate options listed below that apply to your environment and then select Next (a description of each is found below):

Duo Installer - 9

To complete the installation, please select Next.
