The jam packed IT conference season continues with the HPE Discover Virtual Experience which kicks off on Tuesday, June 23rd at 7:30am PDT. If you’re like me (first time attendee, in-person or virtual), head straight for the registration page and get familiar with the agenda, speakers, training and certifications, demos, hands-on labs and industry experts. As a friendly reminder, registration costs you nothing. The entire event is free and only requires a few minutes to register. As the cliche goes, you have nothing to lose and more to gain.
The virtual experience encompasses two days (June 23rd and 24th) and they each begin at 7:30am PDT but if you happen to miss a session or demo, you’ll have access to catch the on-demand recordings down the road. As a first time attendee of the event, I’m also super excited about the opportunity but I’m also blessed to be included as an #HPEInfluencer (Thanks HPE and Laura Mackey) and I hope I can return the favor with my participation and influence across the various tech advocacy groups.
The experience provides an opportunity to connect with fellow tech heads in the industry which will most likely turn into a life time friendship with hopes of one day connecting in person. I probably speak on behalf of many and continue to preach this message each day but there is no greater feeling than being wanted and respected not only for being tech savvy but also for your soft skills including the ability to relate to one another.
Finally, #GivingBack is also a factor when attending IT conferences and HPE has kindly offered to donate $10 to an organization of your choice from this list. Now more than ever, the world needs us to improve the lives of so many in need so let’s get behind this effort and register, while continuing to spread the word!
