2019 Veeam Vanguard Summit – Day 3 Recap

The first session of the final day was two fold because it included a discussion around Continuous Data Protection (CDP) and a Nutanix update.

Anthony Spiteri discussed CDP including its features which include replication of a VM on a continuous cycle without have a dependency of a snapshot. This in turn reduces the time it takes to replicate while creating better efficiency of the resources available.

Next, Michael Cade provided us with a Nutanix update as it relates to its partnership with Veeam including a discussion about its backup solution for Nutanix.

I would also recommended checking out the videos linked below to get a first hand perspective from fellow Veeam Vanguards including their experience at the Veeam Vanguard Summit.

And don’t forget #VeeamONVirtual on Nov 20th. For more details, please click here.

Thank you Max Mortillaro including your family for allowing me to join you for dinner the Saturday before the Summit began. Your hospitality, kindness, and the time you took to ensure my visit to your beautiful city of Prague was memorable is something I will never ever forget! You’re truly as humble and as down to Earth as they come and will be forever thankful for our friendship and without our friends (aka family) at Tech Field Day, we would have never met. It truly is a small world after all.

Last but not least, a huge thanks to Veeam, Rick, Anton, Nikola and the Veeam family for their support. The entire experience was top notch, the event flowed very well, and I’ve heard nothing but high praises from my fellow Veeam Vanguards, all well-deserved!
