VMUG Leader Summit 2019

On behalf of DC VMUG and its members, I am very happy and blessed to announce I’ll be attending the VMUG Leader Summit on the VMware campus in Palo Alto from February 20-22. The summit is expected to host 100+ VMUG Leaders from around the world.

Personally speaking, I can not wait to meet each and every one of you. This is a great opportunity to review best practices and connect with other Leaders from across the globe. The end goal is to share ideas and improve the VMUG experience for everyone involved.

Activities will include roundtable discussions, group sessions, presentations and a VMware campus tour (hopefully w\ my good friend Jeff Goodall). I’ll also cross my fingers and hope I get to meet Pat Gelsinger and Michael Dell if they’re available.

There may also be an opportunity to sneak a photo with the VMware Turtles as well. In return, please consider donating to the Turtle Island Restoration Network (TIRN) as a way of saying Thank You!

If you have any questions, please direct them to the DC VMUG Twitter account and one of the leaders (see below) or I will do our best to get an answer for you while I’m on site. A future blog post will be provided at the conclusion of the summit.

Finally, I’d like to also take this opportunity to thank everyone involved which includes the staff from VMUG, my fellow DC VMUG leaders (Mammo Tesfaye, Mary Frances Mondo and Nico Stein), VMware and it’s employees (including the staff at the Reston VMware office) and our DC VMUG members. None of this would be possible without your support!
