Before we begin, I have to admit I’m super nervous, excited and just can’t wait to experience this wonderful opportunity. It’s been nearly 25 years since I’ve traveled abroad and my excitement continues to grow as we get closer to Cisco Europe Live in Barcelona.
Tech Field Day is the gift that keeps on giving! I can’t stress enough how important TFD has been for me and many others. They’ve opened doors I never thought we’re imaginable. This has provided me with a unique way to interact with industry professionals from around the world and each is now considered a friend (and will remain that way for years to come). To say the least, it’s like being on the Dream Team (for those of you that don’t know, I’m a huge hoops head and his Airness is still and will always be the GOAT).
The delegates (aka Dream Team members) representing Tech Field Day at Cisco Europe Live will include Dominik Pickhardt, Ivan Pepelnjak, Jasper Bongertz, Kim Pedersen, Max Mortillaro, Oliver-Tobias Ripka and last but not least (and fellow #NFD19 delegate) Orhan Ergun.
The theme for #CLEUR19 is Imagine Intuitive (see image below). My first thought was and to quote John Lennon’s song Imagine “You may say I’m a dreamer”. Well, this dream has become a reality! Credit also goes to the kind people at Cisco, Cisco Live Europe, the Cisco Champion program (whom recently accepted me as a member), Avi Networks and Forward Networks for including me on this journey.
A special thank you to Stephen Foskett, Tom Hollingsworth, Ben Gage and Mel Zura including the entire Tech Field Day crew for keeping me in mind and providing one of the best support systems I’ve experienced.
