Linux+ Certification\Resources

I was fortunate enough to pass both exams (LX0-103 & LX0-104) and earn the Linux+ certification last fall and thought others would be interested in doing the same. The following resources were used to help me successfully pass the exams (both are required to earn the certification and must be passed in sequential order):

  1. Purchased the Certified CompTIA Linux+ & LPIC1: System Administrator course from A Cloud Guru. The benefits to purchasing this course from A Cloud Guru are: a) the course materials are good for life. b) the cost of the course is inexpensive ($25.00) and is accessible from any computer with an internet connection. Access is also available via mobile app.
  2. I also used the Linux Unhatched course.
  3. Checked out Linux+ related books from a local library (free of cost) as opposed to purchasing them from Amazon.com
  4. Installed various Linux distributions (Mint, CentOS & Ubuntu) to help prepare me for the various command line interfaces. For each instance, I used Oracle VirtualBox.

Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions.

Regards,

Al
